Chandar Lal is a Principal at Mosaic Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in London with $300 million under management. Chandar invests in early-stage software startups across Europe, with a focus on enterprise AI / ML applications. In the last year, he has backed multiple founders building generative AI applications at Seed and Series A.

 

Before Mosaic, he worked at Sequoia Capital in Silicon Valley, focusing on M&A, research, and strategic partnerships. He started his career as a strategy consultant, where he advised CxOs of large enterprises on adoption of emerging technology.

 

He holds degrees from Cambridge (MPhil, Distinction) and Durham (BA, First Class), and is a Rising Leaders Fellow at the Aspen Institute.
