Daniele Magazzeni

Group Chief AI Officer, UBS

Daniele Magazzeni is Group Chief AI Officer at UBS, a role he assumed in January 2026.

He is responsible for shaping and advancing the firm’s AI strategy, with a focus on driving

innovation, scale, and responsible adoption across the bank.

Prior to joining UBS, he worked at JPMorgan as Chief Analytics Officer for the EMEA region

and for the Commercial and Investment Bank globally. Before transitioning to the financial

services industry, he was Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London.

Daniele holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and has authored more than 100 peer‑reviewed

research papers and is an inventor on over 40 filed patents in artificial intelligence.
