Danielle Belgrave

Danielle Belgrave is a VP of AI and Machine Learning at GSK where she leads the AI/ML Clinical Development team. Her career in machine learning for healthcare spans almost 20 years, leading and conducting machine learning research across academia and industry focused on scientific discovery and personalising interventions in health. She has previously worked at Google DeepMind, Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK and Imperial College London. She has a BSc in business mathematics and statistics from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in statistics from University College London. Her PhD and Postdoc was at the University of Manchester in Machine Learning for Healthcare. Danielle was General Chair of NeurIPS 2025 and is currently serving on the board of NeurIPS, the largest academic AI conference globally. She has previously served as Program Chair of NeurIPS 2022 and 2024. She serves on several academic boards including the University of Bristol Informed AI Advisory Board and the Foundational AI Centre for Doctoral Training at University College London.
