Neal Riley

Neal Riley is AI Innovation Lead at The Adaptavist Group, where he explores how AI is changing the way technology businesses build, operate and grow. A former Group CIO, Neal has spent much of his career at the intersection of product, technology and the platforms that underpin modern software, from Apple and Atlassian to his work helping shape The Adaptavist Group’s technology and automation businesses.

At The Adaptavist Group, Neal is focused on the practical side of AI: what’s genuinely useful, what changes when software becomes more intelligent, and how organisations can experiment without losing sight of the customer or the business case. His perspective is shaped by working across the Atlassian and AWS ecosystems, as well as building and scaling technology products himself.

Neal is also Co-Founder and General Manager of Salable, a monetisation platform for software businesses, which gives him a close-up view of how AI and other emerging technologies are changing software, from how it gets built to how it gets priced and sold.
