Tey Bannerman

Tey Bannerman is an independent advisor on human-centred AI and a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, where he was previously a Partner leading the firm’s European design practice and its AI implementation work.

Before consulting he was a computer scientist, then a product designer — a route that means he has sat in every seat building and implementing AI platforms: the models, the interface, the strategy, the risks, and the human factors.

In his spare time, he teaches AI strategy at the iF Design Academy, D&AD and The Marketing Academy, co-authored The AI Revolution, a #1 Amazon AI bestseller, and publishes free frameworks — the Four Modes and the human-AI oversight model — now used by tens of thousands of teams worldwide.
