Ekaterina (Kate) Nazarova

Kate Nazarova is a Senior Data Scientist with a global and interdisciplinary background. She holds four academic degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, and Data Science, earned in Germany, France, and Russia. With professional experience spanning 20+ countries, Kate specializes in applying advanced ML and AI techniques—including Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Explainable AI (XAI), and more—to solve high-impact, real-world problems. Her work combines deep technical rigor with strategic business insight, enabling innovation and transformation across a wide range of sectors.

 

In addition to her core technical role, Kate drives AI enablement initiatives within her organization—designing and delivering tailored training programs that strengthen organizational AI maturity, promote responsible AI adoption, and embed data-driven thinking into both daily operations and long-term business strategies.

 

Kate is also a passionate advocate for data literacy and ethical AI practices. She co-hosts the globally recognized podcast "Diaries of a Data Scientist," which reaches audiences in over 50 countries. The podcast breaks down complex AI topics into accessible insights, shares behind-the-scenes perspectives from the tech world, and fosters a global, inclusive community of data science professionals and learners.

 

Alongside her industry work, Kate is deeply involved in education and mentorship. She serves as a guest lecturer and technical supervisor at universities across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, while also mentoring professionals within the industry. She supports executives, early-career talents, and senior scientists—helping them navigate the fast-evolving world of AI with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
